St. Anthony Community Hospital Radiology – Quality Care Close to Home

The Radiology Department provides the highest quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy in the region.

After extensive review, the American College of Radiology has granted its Gold Seal of Accreditation to our CT, Mammography and Ultrasound programs. This national recognition ensures safe, quality care patients can trust close to home in Warwick. Board-certified radiologists and technologists offer premium, state-of-the-art diagnostic services which include:

State-of-the-art women’s imaging services including mammography, bone density and ultrasound are offered at our freestanding Women’s Imaging Center located at 55 Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Warwick.

The highly trained and experienced staff at St. Anthony Community Hospital and the Women’s Imaging Center champion the very best care combined with personalized attention for every patient, every day. At every step of a patient’s care, from the initial appointment through medical visits and aftercare, the Radiology team prides itself on diligent follow-up and review of exams enabling patients to be fully informed.

The Radiology Department is located just beyond the main lobby at St. Anthony Community Hospital and is open for inpatient and outpatient services and emergency procedures 24 hours a day. X-rays are performed on a walk-in basis with no appointment necessary. All other exams must be scheduled through our Coordination of Care Department at 866.596.8456.

St. Anthony Community Hospital Kicks Off $10 Million Renovation of Radiology Department

St. Anthony Community Hospital is undergoing an extensive upgrade of its Radiology Department that will deliver faster and more accurate diagnoses. The $10 million project is expected to significantly increase the size of the current Radiology Department with three newly renovated rooms. The suite enhancements will accommodate new X-ray, CT and MRI equipment that will accompany a new ultrasound machine.

Additionally, 3D mammography will soon be available at our Women’s Imaging Center at Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Warwick.

“Our investment in our expanded Radiology Department and advanced technologies is a testament to our commitment to provide the highest level of care for our patients,” said Anita Volpe, RN, Vice President and Hospital Administrator at St. Anthony Community Hospital.

Phase One of the construction is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2020, and the next phases will be spread out over the course of the next few years to provide a state-of-the-art Radiology Department at St. Anthony Community Hospital.
